G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê (/ˈfɘzi/ /ˈʃëno/ [precious; rare] [worker; employee]) is a subtropical Town located in the Trtskruppuqu Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê was founded by Belegiel Shèqthêv, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê receives an average of 65 cm/y (25 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 12674 m (-1368 ft) above sea level.
Overview
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê was founded durring the late 16th century in summer of the year 1480, by Belegiel Shèqthêv. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê is is constructed arround a series of broad paverstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Even with that as it is, everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or much of both. The town should be gone, not dying. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable.
Civic Infrastructure
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..
In G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.
The Mud Elemental, Large near G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
G̈cêfk-shëno Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves drinking to channel Charm energies of tier 2 via oath swearing.
